June Update
Dear lovely PMCH people
What a joy it was to celebrate Pentecost together as a church family. As we gathered to worship and remember the coming of the Holy Spirit, we were reminded once again that the Church is not sustained by our own strength, but by the power and presence of God among us. Thank you to all who helped make our Pentecost celebrations such a blessing.
Yesterday, we also began our new sermon series, ‘Encounters with Jesus in Mark’. As we journey through Mark’s Gospel together over the coming weeks in the 11am service, my prayer is that each one of us would encounter Jesus afresh, discovering more of his compassion, authority, challenge, and grace.
I would also like to express my thanks for your patience and understanding as we have navigated the recent issues surrounding the continuation of our banking services. These matters took longer to resolve than we’d hoped, and we are thankful for the support shown throughout this process.
As a result of the issues with our bank account, our Gift Day had been delayed and has now been moved to Sunday 14th June. We will be sending out an email later in the week or you can view all the information on our website HERE. Please take a moment to read the full details of the appeal and the vision behind it. Any payments can be made from today onwards.
We invite you to prayerfully consider supporting the Gift Day, as you are able. We recognise that people’s circumstances differ greatly, and we encourage everyone only to give within their means. Every gift, large or small, is deeply appreciated and will help support the ongoing ministry and mission of our church.
Thank you again for your faithfulness, prayers, and generosity.
With love
Jonny
