Sunday
Sunday 09 August 2026
There is no morning service at PMCH this Sunday as we take time to rest and encourage everyone to observe a sabbath.
Here are some suggestions if resting or changing your Sunday routine seems challenging…
Take a walk in nature and thank God for the beauty of creation
Go to a beach and take your bible to read of the many encounters that Jesus had with people by the sea
Invite a neighbour around for coffee (and cake) and enjoy worship through fellowship
Re-watch any sermons you may have missed from our recent series - Encounter - you can find them on YouTube HERE
Visit another local church and experience a different expression of worship (check they have a service and start times first!)
Spend the day at Creationfest for their last summer festival in its current form visit creationfest.org.uk
Find a quiet place to pray and ask God to reveal something new in the silence and quiet
Call a friend or write a letter/email to someone who needs encouraging right now
What will you do this Sunday morning to find REST in God?
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”
Matthew 11:28
We normally meet every Sunday
11am & 7pm
Morning Worship
Our morning gatherings are usually loud and lively and have lots on offer for children and families by provision of age appropriate groups for them to attend. You will find a warm welcome and an informal atmosphere.
Music is led by one of our bands and contains a variety of songs and hymns. There is an upbeat message from our minister or one of our speaking team. The service lasts around 75 minutes and coffee is served before and after.
We meet at PMCH and Livestream our morning services every Sunday.
Our livestream takes a break in August and a short prerecorded video will be available to watch on Sundays at 11am. We also will not have a morning service online/prerecorded or in the building on 09 August.

Students & Young Adults
Students have often described PMCH as a home away from home.
If you would like to meet other 18-30 year olds from all different walks of life then we’d love to see you.
As well as meeting together on a Sunday we have groups running throughout the week and prayer & pastoral support is available.
Evening Service
Our evening gathering is smaller and more reflective. Worship is usually led by a band with a greater emphasis on more traditional hymns and songs. Coffee is served after the service.
The service lasts about 60 mins and contains a message from one of our speakers about how to live the Christian life today.
