May Update
What a privilege it is to be able to write a few words to you this month! It gives me the opportunity to give you a snapshot of what the young people in PMCH will be getting up to this term.
X:Clamation is our Monday night group for those who really want to go deeper in their journey with God through Bible study, worship and sharing prayer together. This term we are going to be studying the book of Daniel- which was requested by one of the young people.
As a 17 year old, Daniel was taken out of his homeland and forced to live in exile initially under the rule of the Babylonians. He had to live under their rule without compromising his faith, which he did spectacularly well! And, although we have not been taken away from our homes and living under foreign rule, we do live within a culture which requires us to be different. The title of our series is ‘How to be Fearless’, which as a 51 year old youth pastor is pretty daunting, let alone as a teenager trying to navigate the current culture!
How is God asking you to not compromise your faith today? What a challenge! But let us also be assured and encouraged that God walks with us and will give us the courage to be fearless.
Many Blessings
Zoë
(PMCH Youth Pastor)
